I was born in England, but grew up mostly in Canada.

Grade school in Nova Scotia.

High School in Quebec.

Art College in Toronto.

I have dark red hair and green eyes.

160cm tall. (that would be 5'3 in American)

I do not wear plus sizes. (update: Well, it depends on your definition...)

I have never had a job that required the wearing of beige pantihose.

Similarly, perqs and benefits are an unknown delight.(update: I married someone who has spousal benefits. Whee!)

According to my mother, I was drawing before I could walk.

From the age of eight til my late teens, I read nothing but hard science and science fiction.

Cooking was my first career.

I enjoy cooking more than I do eating.

I've taught drawing at design school, at children's theater classes, and as a private tutor.

I was in two International Busker Festivals. I did chalk sidewalk art, a venerable tradition.

I miss singing. I sing alto in a very good little chamber choir.

I play no games except Tetris and Trivia... but I’m very good at those.

I speak French and American Sign Language, both a bit rusty.

Am messy by nature. Not dirty/unhygenic, just cluttered. There's a big difference.
